Week 43, continued: Zagreb (posted by Wade)

After a month of fun traveling with grandparents, we were ready for a quiet few days to catch our breath and do some schoolwork. Luckily for us, Zagreb was the perfect town with the perfect weather for some R&R.

We spent most of our five days in Zagreb sitting on park benches, watching the world go by, and doing homework. The girls put the finishing touches on their research papers in between math lessons. After several months of medieval fortresses and fantastic museums, we decided to take it easy while in Zagreb and enjoy the street life.

We did make time for Zagreb's botanical garden on our final day before we were off to Ljubljana
